Pipeline Welder

We're looking for experienced pipeline welders to join our crew on a major gas transmission project in the Permian Basin area. You'll be performing SMAW and GTAW welding on carbon steel pipe (6" to 36" diameter) in a fast-paced field environment. Day-to-day responsibilities: • Weld pipe joints per approved WPS and project specifications • Read and interpret pipeline drawings, isometrics, and weld maps • Perform fit-up, tack welding, and final welding on mainline and tie-in welds • Operate grinding, cutting, and beveling equipment • Complete daily weld logs and quality documentation • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition • Participate in daily safety meetings and JSAs This is a 14/14 rotation with camp accommodations provided. Per diem included for non-local hires. Overtime opportunities available.

• Minimum 3 years pipeline welding experience (mainline or tie-ins) • Must pass 6G welding test on site (6" and 12" pipe, SMAW root and cap) • CWB or equivalent certification required • Valid driver's licence and clean driving abstract • Must have own welding hood, leathers, and basic hand tools • Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening • Fall Protection and Ground Disturbance tickets current
