Safety Coordinator

Looking for a site safety coordinator to manage daily safety operations across multiple pipeline construction and integrity crews operating in southeastern New Mexico. Responsibilities: • Conduct daily Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and toolbox talks • Perform site safety audits and inspections across active work fronts • Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions; complete reports • Ensure compliance with OSHA, PHMSA, and client-specific safety requirements • Manage site orientation for new hires and subcontractors • Maintain safety documentation, training records, and compliance files • Interface with client safety representatives during site visits and audits • Track and report leading and lagging safety indicators • Coordinate emergency response planning and drills This is a contract role (6+ months) with strong potential for extension. You'll be embedded with our field teams and report to the HSE Director.

• Minimum 5 years safety experience in pipeline construction or oil & gas field operations • OSHA 30-Hour certification required • CSP, ASP, or CHST designation preferred • Strong knowledge of PHMSA pipeline safety regulations (49 CFR 192/195) • Experience with ISNetworld, Avetta, and Veriforce compliance platforms • Proficient in incident investigation and root cause analysis • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Able to work outdoors and travel between job sites (valid licence and own vehicle required) • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
