IPPSA is an industry association, established in 1993, that convenes Alberta's independent power producers and stakeholders to support a fair and competitive electricity market. Its members collectively invest in and operate nearly all of Alberta's electricity generating facilities. The association provides industry data, networking events and an annual conference, and advocates on policy and regulatory matters affecting the province's electricity sector.
